Five on Friday - November 3, 2017

Happy Friday!  Eric and I are on a little getaway to celebrate his big birthday.  I'm coming to you from Louisville today and we are finding all kinds of fun things to do here.  Can't wait to share it with you.  But in the meantime, here's my five for this week ~

1.  Daylight Savings Time
Guess what -- we get an extra hour this weekend!  Woo Hoo!!  Who can't use an extra sixty minutes in their lives.  So don't forget to set your clocks back on Sunday at 2:00 am (or Saturday night before you go to bed) and enjoy a full free hour when you wake up on Sunday morning.

2.  My Audio Pet Bluetooth Speaker
Oprah's Favorite Things list is out and these adorable little Bluetooth speakers are on it! With the easy wireless Bluetooth connection to your smartphone, tablet, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices, you are going to want more than one of these babies! The battery is rechargeable and you can take the music with you anywhere you go. Which one is your favorite?  I think I'm leaning towards the owl.  Click HERE to check them out.

Are you an Oreo lover?  Well, this hot cocoa is for you!  You can now quench that cookie crave in a drink.  I'm excited to drop a box of this drink in my grocery cart on my next trip to the store.  It just sounds so YUMMY!
Ashley over at Happy.Pretty.Sweet mentioned this book a bit ago and it's been on my mind ever since.  I'm adding this book to my wish list.  With the holiday season quickly approaching, I thought you might want to add it to your wish list too.  You don't want to have that fork in the wrong place when your in-laws stop by for Thanksgiving dinner!  Click HERE to grab one for yourself and you can entertain with ease knowing your table is perfect.

5.  Just doing what the doctor said to do.....

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!  We are driving down near Lexington today to visit a horse farm and stopping for a bourbon tour on the way back to Louisville.  I'll fill you in on all of our adventures next week.

  1. Check out Louisville slugger even if you don't tour it and eat at Feast. You won't be disappointed!

  4. I completely forgot about our extra hour this weekend! Yes! I'm using it for sleep ha. And that hot chocolate looks so good. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it next time in out shopping.

  5. Can't wait to hear about your trip to Louisville--hope you have a great time! And those bluetooth speakers are too cute! I love the little own :) That looks like a great book. I have no idea how to decorate a table (and currently I've been getting away with this because I live in a shoebox so not enough room for too much company). At some point, when we move, I'll want to invite everyone over to entertain :)

Have a great weekend, Penny! Love the treadmill meme! HA!

  7. Omg, that treadmill photo is hilarious! I'm so glad that we get an EXTRA hour this weekend instead of losing one. I can always use more sleep. haha Ooh have fun in Louisville! I was there recently and it's such fun. Enjoy Lexington too; I haven't been there since I graduated from Grad School (U.K.)

  8. Those speakers are so cute! I'll have to see if they're available in the UK. I'm a fan of everything Oreo so an Oreo-flavoured drink is never going to be turned down! Although I do exercise, I'm not a fan of treadmills so that photo was funny!
