Thinking Out Loud Thursday - September 13, 2018

Well hello Thursday!  And welcome to Thinking Out Loud.  This week has truly been a blur for me.  From the moment the wheels of the plane hit the ground from our vacation in Italy, I've been entrenched in work and wedding preparations.  Not that I'm complaining because I sincerely love both things, but come next Monday I might just melt into a puddle and need a few days to recover!

A fun little side hobby of mine is helping brides and grooms make their wedding dreams come true.  I've been working with the most lovely couple - Dayna and Aaron - for several months and their big day is this Sunday!  Things are coming together so beautifully and today I'm thinking out loud about the welcome bag their hotel guests will be receiving.

Who doesn't love a little surprise when you check in a hotel?  It sends a heartfelt message to the guests that the bride and groom appreciate them coming to share in the celebration of their wedding.

Let me share what Dayna and Aaron's guests will be receiving ~

Welcome Letter
If you're anything like me, half the time I forgot the invitation at home and then have to cross my fingers that I've remembered the wedding time correctly.  With the welcome letter, all the important details are outlined and you won't be walking in the wedding when it's half over because you didn't exactly remember the correct start time.

Door Hangar
Don't want to be disturbed the morning after the wedding?  Just hang the personalized door hangar on the door to let everyone know how much fun you had the night before!

Personalized Water Bottles
A couple extra water bottles are always great to have around.  If you don't drink them in the hotel, they can be used when you hit the road for your journey back home.

Oops - For Life's Little Emergencies
Contents include a Shout Wipe, bandages, individual Wet Wipe packet, alcohol wipes, Tylenol and a pack of tissues.  I'd throw those tissues straight in my purse because weddings always make me cry!

Snacks
Just in case the munchies strike, peek in the bag for some snacks!  In the case of Dayna and Aaron, their guests will be getting pretzels, cookies, popcorn, gum and laffy taffy.

Special shout out to Heather at The Papered Wedding.  I was running short on time and purchased a few of her printable items on Etsy to complete the look for these bags.  She was very responsive in answering questions and I received the files super fast.  If you're looking for a quick design to print, check out her Etsy shop.

Now I need to get busy thinking about the rest of the wedding details.  Sunday will be here before I know it.  Thank goodness a couple of my friends are coming into town tomorrow to help wrap up all the last minute things and assist in the set up for the wedding!

What's on your mind today?  Link up and share what you're thinking out loud about!

  4. Those are beautiful, and so thoughtful! Surprises in my room used to be one of my favorite parts of earned incentive trips. Even time spent alone reminds you that someone is thinking of you :)
