Welcome to Thinking Out Loud Thursday! How are you guys doing? I'll be honest, I have my good days and not so great days. This whole COVID thing is just so challenging. And every day I'm amazed at the just downright rude comments on social. I totally understand that people have strong feelings on both sides of this pandemic, but must we be so darn rude about it? When did we stop being kind to one another? When did we forget to love your neighbor?
Love yourself so BIG that you will never allow someone else to make you feel small. Love others with so much energy that the goodness you put out is always louder than the negativity that tries to get in.I'm going all in on spreading love. Here are some things I'm going to focus on ~
Wave at all the cars that pass in my neighborhood.
Send some snail mail to friends.
Pray for someone who I feel has hurt my feelings.
Donate items I'm not using or don't need.
Think twice, speak once.
Love my neighbors!
Want to join me on this quest? It would only take a small effort from each of us to truly make the world a better place!
Now it's your turn - what are you thinking out loud about today? Link up and share. I'd love to hear from you!
Oh yes, we can always use more kindness in the world and it sure does seem (at times) like this pandemic has brought out the worst in people.
ReplyDeleteSuch great reminders for sure. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful message. You are right, people have become so rude. Not just online but even in person, the tone is so crass. I think, this pandemic has taught us to pause and look around. To consider the other person instead of always being self absorbed in our own bubble worlds and routine. God bless you.

So simple and yet so profound. Thank you for linking up with grace and truth.
ReplyDeleteYes, I definitely agree with you here! Sometimes I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone because of all the craziness. :( But I can at least *try* to control my own craziness and focus on a few loving things that are within my sphere of influence. Thanks!
