Let's Make Slow Cooker Olive Garden Chicken Pasta

Last week I went on the hunt in Pinterest for a new recipe to make.  The winner was this Slow Cooker Olive Garden Chicken Pasta!

Here's What You Need
2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
16 oz. Olive Garden Italian Dressing (can be made with other Italian dressings)
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (divided)
1/4 tsp. black pepper
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. penne pasta

(Not pictured is the chicken because raw chicken just looks gross in a picture.)

Here's What You Do
Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker.  I cut mine in half because they were pretty large.

Pour the Olive Garden Italian dressing over the top.

Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the grated parmesan cheese and pepper the mixture.

Cut your cream cheese into several pieces and place it on top.

Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 5-6 hours.

When the cooking time is complete, shred the chicken and place it back in the crockpot.  Cook the pasta on the stovetop as directed on the package.  Drain the pasta and add it to the crockpot with the chicken mixture and stir to combine.

Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup parmesan cheese over the top.

We served this dish on Saturday night when our son and daughter-in-law came over and it got a thumbs up from everyone.  The flavor was rich and creamy and definitely earned a place in our recipe rotation.  To make it even better, this was such an easy recipe to make!  Hope your family enjoys it as much as we did!
