Let's Make Parmesan Chicken

Welcome friends to Thinking Out Loud Thursday where I share something on my mind and invite you to link up and do the same.  Today I'm sharing a long-standing family favorite recipe - Parmesan Chicken!  This recipe came into my life years ago when a friend served it for dinner at her house.  I had to get the recipe as soon as I tasted it.

Here's What You Need

1 cup crushed herb-seasoned stuffing mix (I use Pepperidge Farm)
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped, fresh parley
3/4 cup butter
1 large clove garlic, crushed
6 chicken breasts

Here's What You Do
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Mix stuffing, cheese and parsley together in a small bowl.

Melt butter in a skillet.  Add the garlic while butter is melting so the flavors will blend.

Dip chicken in the butter/garlic mixture.  Roll in the crumbs and place in a baking dish.

Sprinkle the remaining stuffing mixture and butter over the top of the chicken.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes, or until chicken is done.

This recipe can be made ahead of time and baked when you are ready.  Many times, I put this together the night before and just pop it in the oven for dinner the next night.

Hope you like it as much as we do!

Now it's your turn - what are you thinking out loud about today?  Link up and share!

  3. This sounds delicious! My boys LOVE chicken parmesan but I rarely make it since the recipe we use is rather time consuming. I'm going to have to try this for sure. Pinned.
