Taylor and Jack Got Married!

Hello and welcome to Thinking Out Loud Thursday where I share something on my mind and invite you to link up and do the same.  Today I'm sharing something I've been thinking about since last November and am just now getting around to blogging about it.  Taylor and Jack got married at the end of November and we had the honor of helping.

The wedding of Taylor and Jack was totally magnificent!  They were a pure joy to work with, which made my job as their planner so much fun.  Both sides of the family and the entire wedding party were wonderful too!

Taylor was extremely organized and rarely left home without her wedding planning binder.  She even clipped a strap on it so she could carry it like a purse!  The girl had it together!

The venue for the wedding and reception was The Boo Cat Club, located at 812 Union Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri.  They have a very unique space in the basement, or catacombs, for the ceremony and space on the main level for the reception.  Upstairs is a large room where the bridesmaid can get ready and there's a room in the catacombs for the gentlemen.

From our first meeting, I knew their dog would need to play a role in the nuptials.  Their adorable puppy was more than willing to play the role of Best Dog.

Taylor and Jack had swizzle sticks made with the puppy's picture to go with their signature cocktails.  How cute is that?!?

The personalized swizzle sticks went great with the signature cocktails!  The groom's was a blackberry-infused Old Fashion and the bride went with the Classic Dirty Shirley.

At our first meeting, Taylor said she wanted disco balls woven into the decorations.  It took me a minute to wrap my head around what we could do.  The florist, Carol Genteman Floral Design, found ways to put them in all the right places.  They were so cute!

Each guest even had a little disco ball wrapped around their napkin that they got to take home as a memento of the evening.

I loved the backdrop for guests to take pictures under.  My daughter-in-law helped with the set up and she fell in love with the name sign.  I ended up getting her and my son one for Christmas.  This one came from a shop on Etsy called HouseOfRounds.

Congratulations Taylor and Jack!  Wishing you years of happiness and joy!
