1. Daylight Savings Time Begins Sunday
Looking forward to loosing an hour this weekend? Me neither, but the good side to loosing an hour is it will stay light an hour longer in the evenings. Now, that is something to look forward to! So Saturday night before going to bed remember to set your clocks forward one hour. You don't want to walk into church on Sunday morning an hour late! Ever wonder who's bright idea it was to start moving the clock hands around? Blame it on Benjamin Franklin. He suggested, rather jokingly, to wake up earlier to save candles.
2. Jackie
I totally missed seeing Jackie in the theaters, but it was released on DVD on Tuesday. Now I'll be able to watch it from the comfort of my couch! Yay!! I'm excited to see Natalie Portman in her role as First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy that got her the nomination for Best Actress. Maybe we'll try to watch it this weekend.
3. Victoria
Speaking of laying on my couch watching TV, Eric and I did a little binge watching this week with Victoria. Did you watch it? We had taped the series and just got around to watching it this week. Wow -- we loved it! If you're looking for something to watch, you might want to pick this up from Amazon. The whole season is about the price you would pay for a couple movie tickets. Check it out HERE.
4. Ed Sheeran's North American Tour
My buddy Ed must have heard my plea last week (or read my blog) to tour in the US because he announced his North American Tour dates this week. And look - St. Louis is on his list! Score!! Have you listened to his new CD, Divide, yet? I've been listening to it non-stop since it arrived at my doorstop last Friday. Love it! I'm going to be glued to my computer when concert tickets go on sale to pick up a couple!

I have only watched a couple of episodes of Victoria, but they were all good. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful that Daylight Savings always happens during spring break. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLOL @ #5 !! That's great! We're going to be at a dance competition this weekend, so glad there are no routines on Sunday to be affected by DST - that would suck to be late for that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder of Daylight Savings this weekend ;) At least we are headed in the right direction and Spring is on its way!

I really REALLY want to see Ed Sheeran... I just wrote about him (and his new album) on my blog this morning. It is SO good!
ReplyDeleteAlso I hate losing an hour of sleep but that extra sunshine always makes up for it :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend and please let me know your thoughts on Jackie. I have a friend who wasn't impressed with the movie, but I do love Natalie Portman!
XOOX
Some of my girl friends are FREAKING OUT about Ed Sheeran coming to Chicago this fall ha. And I totally forgot about day light savings! I don't want to lose an hour! But I do like when it's light later... so I guess I can't complain.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many concerts being announced it is crazy!
ReplyDeleteOops I need to catch up on Nick before Monday. Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteHey Penny! I hope you had a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI, too, hate DST but having the sun out in full swing still at 5 pm, that's pretty dang awesome. Especially when it's darn cold out and still spring seems so far away.
Have a great week hun!
