Thinking Out Loud Thursday - Christmas Deadlines

Welcome to  Thinking Out Loud Thursday!  Like I'm sure many of you, I'm thinking about the upcoming holiday and getting things crossed off my to do list(s).  Now that December is actually here, the Christmas holiday seems to be more in focus.  We know our time is limited to prepare and meet deadlines.  The first thing we have to do is actually get our well thought out gifts in our hot little hands.  I'm loving our Amazon Prime this year and am taking full advantage of the 2 day deliver! Want to give Prime a 30-day free trial run?  It's just a click away.

Once the presents get to you, you still might need to get them to someone else.  Here are the shipping deadlines this year so your packages arrive in time for the big day!

Hey -- just a heads up on something else -- St. Nicholas Day is this Sunday, December 6. This is when the kiddos sit their shoes out the night before and St. Nicholas puts a little something in them overnight.
Now it's your turn!  What are you thinking out loud about today?  Do you have lots of packages to get the mail?  Any cool St. Nicolas Day ideas you'd like to share?  Link with me and Vanessa from X-tremely V and let us know what you're thinking out loud about today.

  1. I am so way behind on everything. Shopping - can't even begin where to start. It is coming sooner and sooner every year. Thanks for the schedules. Not that I have a ton to mail, everyone I buy for is local. But, for those that do, this is helpful.

  3. Super helpful... In the mix with all the holiday fun (and chaos) this info will help make sure you ship in time.

  4. I mailed a bunch of stuff out on Black Friday. They told me that's the best day of the year to ship anything. Not only is it the slowest day of the year for them but your packages will go out faster because they are literally waiting for something to do. Someone at the post office told me that LAST year, so this year I shopped early and mailed out the ones going the furthest that day. I paid for the slowest rate on all of them and they all got them within 4 days. I'm sold on doing that EVERY year now!

  5. Oooh, this is really helpful.

I only have to ship a few things... but still, I'm not the best with deadlines unless they're right under my nose.

Thanks for sharing (and for linking up to the #SHINEbloghop).

    Wishing you a lovely day.
    xoxo
