Here's my Five on Friday for today:
1. The Artist's Hand Calligraphy
If you saw my Weekending post this week, you know that I helped my friend, Lauren, finish up her wedding invitations. They are so beautiful! She had Michelle at The Artist's Hand Calligraphy hand address her envelopes and they were AMAZING! We were so enamored by the wonderful job she did. If you're in the market for anything calligraphy, I can not recommend Michelle highly enough. She prefers a month lead time, but is very flexible. I'm thinking about planning a party just so she can do the envelopes for me -- no joke. Can you imagine how excited your guests would be to find one of these beauties in the mailbox?!?
2. Clinique Primer
Do you get those postcard flyers in the mail from Clinique? For years I just pitched them in the trash. Well, for some reason I actually took one into Macy's a while back and got my free sample of the product they were promoting. Now every time I see one in the mailbox I get a little giddy -- I love the free samples. So, long story short, last week I had one for Clinique Face Primer. Went in and got the sample -- LOVE THIS STUFF! Do you use a primer? I never had and now I can't believe I've gone my whole life without it. Highly recommend trying it if you don't use a primer already. It makes my foundation look flawless and my face feel like it's wrapped in satin.
3. Peeps Milk
They make Peeps for about every holiday now, but the little yellow Peeps ducks always remind me of Spring and Easter. Now they have Peeps milk! My dad is a lover of eggnog so this Easter you can bet your boots we'll have some Easter eggnog in the frig to taste. Anyone already try it?
4. The Second Best Marigold Hotel
The Best Marigold Hotel was one of my favorites, so I'm excited to see The Second Best Marigold Hotel. It opens today and hopefully I'll have seen it by Monday. With the amazing lineup of actors in this film, how can it be anything but great. The addition of Richard Gere plus the return of Judi Dench, Maggie Smith and Dev Patel makes me want to stop what I'm doing and run to the theaters to see it.
5. Spring Forward
Don't forget daylight savings time begins at 2 am on March 8, so get ready to set those clocks up. It's a bummer to loose an hour of sleep, but also wonderful to be getting more daylight in a day. One more indication that Spring is on it's way!
We have a busy weekend planned and hopefully the weather won't stand in our way like it did last weekend. I'm going to a Celebrity Bartending event to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital on Saturday night and we'll be celebrating our son's birthday on Sunday. Fun times! Stop back by on Monday to hear all about it.

I love getting more daylight during the day. But I confess - I work from home, so I'm never sad about losing some sleep. I know it's harder on others.
