But before that happens, here's my five for this week ~
1. The Hamilton Hold
This video went all kinds of viral this week, so you might have seen it already. But if you haven't, it might just be what brings you some peace on earth. This hold technique apparently quiets any crying baby. Wish I had seen this about 24 years ago when Ian was a baby!
2. New Year's Eve
It's not too early to start thinking about your New Year's Eve celebration. Check out these adorable photo booth props! They will definitely make any photos of New Year's a tad more fun. And memorable! Be the hit of the party and take these as a hostess gift.

3. National Gingerbread House Day
Get out the icing and candy because tomorrow is Gingerbread House Day! If you don't want to bake the gingerbread, there are a ton of adorable kits out there. As a matter of fact, I sent a kit to my match in a Christmas Cheer box this year. I'm hoping she and her two kids are having a blast putting it together and decorating it. Is decorating a gingerbread house one of your holiday traditions?
4. The Big Short
I know a lot of people are more excited about In The Heart of the Sea opening today, but I'm looking forward to seeing The Big Short. It's based on a true story and I love the cast. Here's what Movie Insider has to say, "When four outsiders saw what the big banks, media and government refused to, the global collapse of the economy, they had an idea: The Big Short. Their bold investment leads them into the dark underbelly of modern banking where they must question everyone and everything."
5. You know this is true....
Enjoy your weekend! I'm off to my home town Saturday for the baby shower I mentioned above. Planning and preparations have been fun! I had a little panic moment on Wednesday and called my neighbor to see if I could hire her daughter for a few hours to help me. Herdaughter was busy, she came over and worked her little fingers off helping. Now there's a great neighbor! Thanks Amy!! I owe you one. Hope you all join me back here on Monday to read all about the shower and whatever else I do this weekend!

Omg, I haven’t seen The Hamilton Hold! SO cool, but I think I would be a bit weary to hold a tiny newborn like that. I’m so glad he talked about being careful because he can roll is neck back. National Gingerbread Day?! We are definitely going to have to make something! :)
ReplyDeleteCall me anytime!!
ReplyDeleteThat movie has a great cast and the plot sounds good. I'll have to go see it or watch it when it comes out. Loved the Hamilton hold video too. I didn't listen to it with sound on but I loved when he's wiggling around the baby's legs. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend back home and safe travels my friend xo
That movie cast looks perfect. I haven't heard of the movie but I'm off to text the hubby about seeing it haha Thanks!
