Valentine Mantel

Hello there!  Welcome to Thinking Out Loud Thursday.  So glad you popped in.

Today I'm sharing the Valentine decorations on our mantle with you.  I'm thinking out loud today about what a great decision it was to have my friend Carol and her work partner Robert come to our house to decorate for Valentine's Day. After we had taken our Christmas decorations down, I carried the Valentine decorations upstairs. And they sat. And sat. And sat.

I kept thinking inspiration would come to me and it just never did.  Finally, with the encouragement of Eric, I called Carol and she came to do her magic.  Best decision of the month!  Here's how it turned out ~

Carol and Robert captured just the look I was hoping for!  At night, we can turn out all the lights in the room and have the fairy lights from the mantel on.  It's quite romantic!

I'll be back soon to share the rest of the decorations, including our three-tier stand.  You won't want to miss seeing them!

Now it's your turn.  What are you thinking out loud about today?  Link up and share.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. That looks beautiful! I love the addition of the little lights. Our mantle has been bare since I took down our Christmas decorations.

  9. I love your mantel. Mine only has about 1" so it doesn't lend itself to decoration. - Margy
