1. The Kelly Clarkson Show
Monday is the first day of Kelly Clarkson's new show and I'm super pumped about it! She is absolutely adorable on The Voice and it made me fall in love with her. I can't wait to see her on her new NBC talk show. Some of her guest the first week are Dwayne Johnson, Ellen DeGeneres, John Legend, Jennifer Garner and Jay Leno. Here's how the show website summarizes ~
"The Kelly Clarkson Show" is daytime's newest destination for humor, heart, and connection, featuring three-time Grammy® Award winning singer/songwriter, mother and America’s original idol, Kelly Clarkson. "The Kelly Clarkson Show" will present the biggest newsmakers and names in film, television and music; as well as emerging new talent and people who are beacons of hope in their communities. Kelly will also connect with everyday people and everyday relatable issues. Her "weekday hang" will also include live performances, games and Kelly's unfiltered perspective on life, family, kids, relationships, marriage and the things that inspire her...
2. Blistex Conditioning Lip Serum
One of the items in my Walmart Beauty Box was this Blistex Conditioning Lip Serum. Guys - it's pretty magical! I have a horrible habit of picking at my lips, so they can get pretty rough. Just a couple applications of this new Lip Serum and they are feeling nice and smooth. It's available HERE or HERE if you want to make your lips more silky.
3. Domeboro
A few weeks ago, a batch of mosquitoes dined on my legs. For some reason I had a crazy weird reaction to the bites. After a sleepless night of itchy skin, I visited the nurse at work the next day and she recommended Domeboro. I had never heard of this stuff, but it worked magic on my legs. After mixing the powder pack with water, I soaked a hand towel in the water mixture and wrapped it on my leg. Amazing relief from the itching!! I can only imagine what a relieve it would give to poison ivy. I'll always have some of this stuff in my medicine cabinet. Get yours HERE.
Do you get those pesty fruit flies in your kitchen? You need one of these - the fruit fly trap! Simply fill the cup with an apple cide vinegar mixture and flies are lured through the perforated stainless steel top. The size (3-1/4 x 2-1/2 inches) would make it easy to hide on your counter and it's dishwasher safe so easy to clean. One is on the way to our house right now! Click HERE to get yours.
5. Trying to do a good deed....
Have a great weekend! We're going to an air show tomorrow and I'm flying out on Sunday to start my work week. It will be a short weekend so we'll have to make the most of the time we have! See you next week!

I always love reading these posts! I've never seen a fruit fly trap before but it looks so interesting. Thanks for sharing!

I love the idea of that fruit fly trap; I've made my own in the past using a dish, cider vinegar and cling wrap with a few fork holes poked in it but this sounds much easier.
ReplyDeleteI like Kelly Clarkson, too. Hope her show is a hit. I am looking forward to the new shows this fall. Just can't find anything to watch during the summer.
