So on with my five for today ~
1. Do Something Nice Day
Okay - I'm giving you a one-day notice, so get your ideas ready. Tomorrow is Do Something Nice Day. Ideally, it would be spectacular if we all did something nice everyday. But it's also fun that we set aside a day to intentionally carry out at act of kindness. Let's all think of some fun things to do and spread some smiles tomorrow by doing something nice for your neighbors, friends and family. Heck, even throw in doing something nice for a stranger!
2. Joker
Just in time for Halloween, the Joker movie is hitting the theaters. I'll be honest, I'm not sure we will be seeing this one. Movies like this tend to creep me out, but Eric loves them. Since tomorrow is Do Something Nice Day, maybe I'll go with him to see it. Here's the synopsis from Fandango:
Failed comedian Arthur Fleck encounters violent thugs while wandering the streets of Gotham City dressed as a clown. Disregarded by society, Fleck begins a slow descent into madness as he transforms into the criminal mastermind known as the Joker.
3. What Fun! Holiday Wine Countdown Calendar
I'm really not one to jump too far ahead on holidays, but this Christmas items is definitely worth mentioning. Kroger is coming out with an adult version of the advent calendar. For $80 you can put up this boozy What Fun! Holiday Wine Countdown Calendar that contains 24 mini bottles of wine from around the world. The limited number of calendars come out on November 1, so if you're interested you better jump on it FAST!
4. Sparkling Pumpkin Spice
If you are all in for the pumpkin spice flavor, you might want to head over to Aldi's and check out their Sparkling Pumpkin Spice juice. Hmmm - wonder how this would be? They say it's a blend of grape and apple juices with a cinnamony edge. Reviews have been positive, so it might be worth a try. Have you tasted it? Sounds like something that would be fun to sip around the firepit.
5. My idea of a marathon....
Have a great weekend everyone! I'll be recuperating from all the late nights getting ready for the wedding today. Thank heavens for my friends help! Pop in next week and see how it went.

That is the only sort of marathon I'm interested in doing! LOL. I don't think I'd like the Joker movie either; plus Heath Ledger did such an amazing job with being a crazy joker it just won't be the same.
ReplyDeleteI heard the joker movie wasn't the best...but good luck with the wedding stuff! Can't wait to see how it turned out!
ReplyDeleteOh, to have a Kroger and an Aldi's and a Trader Joe's! Aldi's had an adult advent calendar last year, I think. Such fun. Love the sounds of that pumpkin spice juice. Not sure PC would go for it, though. Seems guys don't get our love for all things pumpkin.
