Send Some Happy Mail!

Hello there!  Welcome to Thinking Out Loud Thursday where I share something on my mind and invite you to link up and do the same.

This year I want to put smiles on other people's faces and one of my plans to accomplish this is to send more fun packages in the mail.  Come on, who doesn't like to open the mailbox and see a piece of happy mail inside?  What makes it even better is having a fun surprise inside when you open it up!

In case you're thinking you too would like to send more happy mail this year, here are a few of the things I've tucked inside notes that have gotten rave reviews ~

Magnetic bookmarks have been a winner!  You can buy a pack with multiple bookmarks and divide them up or send an entire pack to one person.

I love these boxes of pop-open cards!  There are small in size (2-1/2" x 2-1/2") but pack a big bunch.  Inside, you'll find quotes such as ""If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion." - Dalai Lam.  Besides tucking one in a note to a friend, I sometimes leave these on coworkers' desks as a fun little surprise when they arrive in the morning or return from a meeting.

These lavender hangers are the perfect size to fit in a business-size envelope.  I bought some of these last spring and had a hard time deciding if I wanted to keep them all for myself or mail them to friends!

Wouldn't it be fun to send all your friends facial masks and then get together on Zoom while you use them!

Remember how fun it was to put stickers on everything when you were a kid?  Well, it's just as fun as an adult!  These vinyl stickers are great for water bottles, laptops, notebooks, you name it!  And they are perfect to add inside your notes to friends.

Have fun putting smiles on your friends' faces with the happy mail you send this year!  I'm going to get busy making some notecards so I can start sending love to my friends!

Now it's your turn - what are you thinking out loud about today?  Link up and share!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. I love the idea of happy mail! My women's group just sent a personal letter to all our church's missionary family.

  2. I love this! I was thinking of putting something together for my parents. While they only live 4 hrs away, we have not seen them since the start of the pandemic.I think this would brighten up their day for sure!
