Before I wrap up here and head for the hills, let me share my five for this week.
1. Bridge of Spies
This is a movie I've been waiting for since the first time I saw the previews. Tom Hanks rarely disappoints so we should be in for a treat with this suspenseful mystery. Allan Alda is also in it and I just love him too. Don't think I'll have a chance to see it this weekend, but it's definitely on my list. Are you planning to see it?
2. Oven Liner
Now that Fall is here, I tend to use my oven more frequently. And that usually means more things are bubbling over and causing a lot of smoke and smells. This year I'm going to try one of these oven liners to cut down on the mess I make and hopefully eliminate the possibility of the smoke alarm going off on Thanksgiving because of the pie run over at the bottom of the oven.

This weekend we are going to be playing a lot of Tripoley and I can't wait. Tripoley can be played by people 8 years old and up. It's described as fast-paced three in one challenge in which players use a single card hand to play a round of Michigan rummy, hearts and poker. We play by betting pennies. Hope I come home with more pennies than I take! What games do you like to play with your family?

4. Halloween Lunch Box Notes
Halloween is right around the corner - time to bust out the Halloween lunch box notes for the kids (or adults) lunch boxes. I just love these from I Should Be Mopping the Floor blog. Pop on over and print some to share with the special people in your world.
5. Trust In Yourself.
Hey, do you remember that adorable little nephew of mine that I blogged about HERE? Well, he turned 1 month old this week. Look how ADORABLE he is!!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone! I'll be back on Monday to share some tree pictures from our weekend. Let's hope the leaves are in full color!

Oh your nephew is so cute! So much fun to be the auntie, I bet. I am going to pin those Halloween printable jokes for my kids right now!
ReplyDeleteYour nephew is ADORABLE! And those oven liners are a great idea too!
ReplyDeleteA month old already. Seems like he was just born. He is a cutie pie though. Enjoyed the quote. Perfect timing for today!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that cuteness is already a month old. I feel like you were just showing his newborn self off yesterday!
ReplyDeleteI must try and find one of those oven liners. I cleaned my oven the other day and I normally out down tin foil to line it but I much prefer your suggestion. I'm on a mission now to find these. Thanks Hun!
Have a great weekend Penny xo

I want to see Bridge of Spies so badly! I should probably pick up an oven liner too now that I've been using my oven more often. Side note: that pie looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe Rad Wife
That pie!! I'd love a piece right now. And how is that little one a month old already!?!? It's so crazy just how fast it goes by.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up we usually played Tripoly with chips but every once in a while we got to play with M & M's or jelly beans. It was super fun but hard to remember not to eat them during the game.
