Five on Friday - September 14, 2018

Let's hear it for Friday!  I'm taking a vacation day today to get ready for a wedding I'm helping with this weekend.  My friends, Linda and TW, are rolling in this morning and we'll be working our magic through the weekend.  If you missed my post yesterday (HERE), you'll have to check out the wedding welcome bags already at the hotel waiting for the guest to arrive.  Before we begin, I want to share my five for this Friday with you ~

1.  Letter Board Words
I love my letter board and I'm going to love it even more with these colorful words in script from Home.  Several packages with various words are available to make your message stand out.  I've linked some of them below and there are even more to choice from on Amazon.  Which one is your favorite?  The fall collection is top on my list!

2.  Can Gun 1
Eric majorly came to my rescue this week. I was in the garage working on some wedding projects (you can see one of them HERE), and my finger tip was literally stuck to the nozzle on the spray glue can I was using. If you've not had this happen to you, just know that it's quite painful when you have to rip your finger off to free it! He took pity on me and attached this little gadget. Saved my fingerprints!! Guys, I will never use another spray can without one of these attached. It will be a forever must have in our household. It made the can super easy to grip and spray.  Need some? 3.  Unbroken - Path to Redemption
True story movies always get me. The previews of this one, Unbroken - Path to Redemption, look great. Definitely going on my movies I want to see list. Here's the synopsis from Fandango: "When the war ended, his battle began. Based on Laura Hillenbrand's bestselling book, UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION begins where Unbroken ends, sharing the next amazing chapter of Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini's powerful true story of forgiveness, redemption, and amazing grace."

4.  Maggift 8 Piece Solar LED Garden Lights
It's with sadness that I've realized the light of day is getting shorter.  As much as I love fall, I do hate the fact that the sun sets earlier and darkness is longer.  These lights could really brighten a darkened pathway.  I just love the pattern they reflect!  They are solar powered so no electricity needs to be ran to install them.  Just push them in the ground, turn them on and you are ready to light up your life.  Need some?  Click HERE to purchase.

5. This is me.....

Now I'm going to get busy cutting and gluing and making magic happen over here.  You'll be seeing the results in a future post!  Hope your weekend is full of fun too!

  3. I love that letter board! And those solar lights! Thanks for sharing. Also I may have to look into that spray can tool; I did a project recently that required a lot of spray paint and I was having such a hard time getting the damn thing to work! One can was much easier than the other, so it may have been user error but whatever :) Hope you have a lovely time at your wedding this weekend! XO

  4. I love the letter board and the fun font! I have a light board I play with a bit but I kind of want a letter board too. Speaking of letter boards, that last picture is hilarious. And so true sometimes! Have a great weekend!

  5. Do you have a good recommendation for picture frame markers that erase? I made my nieces birthday frames to be filled in but owe them markers bc I couldn't find any.
