Five on Friday - December 4, 2020

Hello Friday!  I'm taking a vacation day today and I'm super excited to have a full day at home to get some things checked off my to-do list.  This time of year I'm going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark.  It makes me so unmotivated to get things done when I get home at night!  I'm looking forward to having some daylight to work at home in!

Now, on with my five for this week ~

Here's a book that came out this week - just in time for holiday giving!  It's never too early for the kids to hear great stories about our national heroes.  Here's the summary from Amazon ~
A Little Golden Book biography about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, written for preschoolers.
This Little Golden Book is a compelling introduction to an inspiring woman, written for the youngest readers. From a young age, Ruth Bader Ginsburg knew that she wanted to fight for girls and women to have equal rights. She studied and worked very hard and became just the second woman--and the first Jewish woman--to be a United States Supreme Court Justice. This is a terrific read for future trailblazers and their parents!

2.  McRib
It's back!  McDonald's iconic barbecue McRib sandwich showed up on the menu board this week and I'm pretty excited to have one!  This sandwich made its debut nearly 40 years ago.  If you want one, get it quick because it's only here for a limited time.

Looking for a unique gift for the Harry Potter fan in your life?  Check out these cable protectors!  First, I'm just learning about these little things you can put on your charging cables to make them last longer.  Wish I would have known about them before having to replace ours several times!  They also make it quite easy to tell which cable is yours.  So cute!

Do you have your artificial tree up but are missing the sweet scent of the pine?  Scentsicles is your solution.  Lay these sticks inside your tree and for 30 days you'll have a hard time not thinking it's freshly cut.  Merry Christmas!  Click HERE to get yours.

5.  Picture this....

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.  Pop back in next week to see what happened over here.  I'm going to start making our Christmas cards.  And our big Black Friday purchase arrived this week so Eric is busy putting together our new treadmill.  Hopefully, I can log some miles on it this weekend.  See you soon!
