Let's get on with my five for today ~
1. National Cut Your Energy Costs Day
One thing I hate spending money on is utilities. Today is a day to think about ways to cut your energy costs. Eric and I keep our house pretty cool in the winter when we're not home. Then, thanks to our programmable Sensi thermostat, kick it up when we're on our way home. What are some ways you've found effective at cutting your energy costs? Linked below are a few of our favorite items to help with cutting your energy costs.
This film has already made a splash in the movie world by capturing a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture. We've wanted to see it since the first time we saw the previews. 1917 opens today and we'll be seeing it today! Here's the synopsis from Rotten Tomatoes:
At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantastic's George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones' Dean-Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers--Blake's own brother among them.
3. Cheetos Cheddar and Flamin Hot Popcorn
I might be a little too excited about Cheetos new products - Cheddar and Flamin Hot Popcorn! Keep your eyes peeled around the 13th for bags of this new popcorn to be available for you to take home and enjoy. Don't forget to grab a pack of napkins - you'll need them for that Cheetos dust.
4. Exfoliating Glove
Eric and I each have one of these exfoliating gloves to use in the shower and they are amazing! The silicone shower scrubber gently exfoliates while cleaning. It's like getting a little massage every time you use it. Pair it with the shower gels that are on clearance right now at Bath & Body and you can't go wrong!
5. Bummer...
Have a wonderful weekend! I'm going to stay in bed drinking hot tea until this cold subsides. Hopefully, I'll feel like getting up and being productive by tomorrow morning. I want to drag out Valentine's decorations and assess what we have and what we might need. See you next week!

Feel better soon! Going to check out that silicone glove. I keep exfoliating gloves in the shower and love them but they are not silicone.
ReplyDeleteHmm...I had one of those little gloves but I so haven't seen it in forever. Being able to control out thermostat with my phone has been such a game changer! Happy Friday Penny!
ReplyDeleteMay have to check out the gloves! Feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you shake off that cold soon. The movie looks like a good one; you'll have to let us know what you thought of it.
