Five on Friday - February 7, 2020

Friday is here!  This has been a fun week over at our house.  I hosted our monthly neighborhood girls group on Wednesday and Thursday night we went to see the Blues hockey game.  I'm a tad bit excited about having a couple days off to get caught up!  I'm also excited to share my five with you today, so here they are ~

1.  Oscars
The red carpet will be rolled out Sunday night for the 92nd Oscars.  If you're looking for a printable ballot, you can use one from Rotten Tomatoes HERE.  I would love to say I've seen all the movies nominated for Best Picture, but as of right now I'm still three short.  I haven't seen Joker, Parasite or Jojo Rabbit.  Who do you think will win?  Tune in to ABC Sunday night to catch all the excitement.

2. "You're My Lobster"
With Valentine's Day fast approaching, you might be scratching your head trying to find that perfect gift.  What about surprising your loved one with a big 'ole box of Cheddar Bay Biscuits!  Starting Monday, February 10, you can order Red Lobster's limited-edition, heart-shaped box filled with six of their famous biscuits.  They can be ordered for delivery or to be picked up at a Red Lobster location near you.  Visit redlobster.com to get yours!

3.  Valentine's Earrings
Speaking of Valentine's Day, check out this deal from Amazon.  You can get 12 pairs of the newest fashionable leather drop earrings for only $8.99!  Now that's a deal!  You can give a pair to all your friends and keep a pair or two for yourself without breaking the bank.  Get yours by clicking HERE.  They are a Prime item, so they'll be here in plenty of time for the big day.

4.  Valentine Legos
Speaking of Valentine's Day, Legos has adorable sets that would be perfect for the kiddos.  If you're looking for a non-candy option, this would be perfect!  Aren't they adorable!

5.  What time is it?

Okay, let's get this weekend started!  We have game night tonight at our son and daughter-in-law's house.  We're playing one of my all-time favorites - Pictionary!  Then tomorrow I'm headed to our niece's big 4-year-old birthday party.  You know I'll have pictures to share next week so I hope you drop by.  Have a great one!

  1. My husband would love to get a box of Red Lobster biscuits for Valentine's Day! Too bad we don't live near one lol. The boxed mix to make yourself just doesn't seem the same as in the restaurant.

  2. Love that Red Lobster gift idea; mostly because of the Friends reference. :)

  3. Olive garden is doing breadstick bouquets as well. It's a cure idea, ha!

  4. All of my clocks are on the wrong time, deliberately, but none of them is on the same time. So I am subtracting all day long. Never thought of it as a good brain exercise but I guess it is!!
Thanks for the ballot link. You are the awards show queen!!
